Macular degeneration fast progression what does it mean,?

my mother fell 2x 78 ,oct her eyes were normal, nov and jan fell hit head hard... eyes swollen with fluid, baggs huge, her gles broke, when she got new gles she said the poles all are leaning... she went to the eye gl place they said her gl RX was fine he said its your left eye dark spot on your eye near retina she then seen her eye dr he said its macular she had to be seen immediately well the retinologist said its macular degeneration leaking , he said 3 visits for shots in her eye he said she should get some vision back? IS THIS HEAD trauma related? all 3 eye dr say NO, no hx of macular eye diease ? did the eye dr goof in OCT ssaid its normal and now FEB its fast growing so is this WET eye or Dry eye? any real insight /info to share?
