What's the most scenic drive into Seattle from a surrounding major city?

We are visiting friends in Seattle next summer (probably July or August) and we're interested in flying into Vancouver (though it's probably too expensive), Portland, San Francisco, etc. and driving in for the experience. What about Spokane to Seattle?
