Will it hurt my chances badly if I take 5 cles during my senior year?

If depends what you mean by 5 cles senior year. 5 AP/honors cles senior year is impressive. 5 cles total including gym/health and an elective isn't. I'd bump up the cles to harder cles, but not more classes, to look better for colleges.They DO NOT want to see that you slacked off.
