Where can I get non-need based student loans?

I need tuition money for the second semester of my freshman year in college. Sallie Mae tried to screw me over with interest and making me start paying them back while I was still in school, so my grandparents loaned me what I needed for the first semester, but now I need to find somewhere else to get a loan.
