Roommate came home today with a lawsuit.....quick question?

My roommate borrowed a friend of his' car a year and a half ago.He lost his job and Went through a serious depression, got a bunch of tickets on the car, told the girl about the tickets and since he wasn't working at the time tried to work out a payment plan with the tickets. Her car was impounded due to the tickets and now all this time later she is suing him for a bunch of tickets and it sounds like she is embellishing a lot of it. Also the lawyer on the paperwork is a friend of hers. What are the odds that the court can prove which tickets he got and which she got?
