LADIES PLEASE> What does it mean if a female ask this random question?

She's probably interested in you as more than a "brother". I'll let you in on a secret, she wasn't texting you with questions about her blackberry "because you're an Engineering Technology major". If you were a Bio major it would be "because you're the smartest person I know" or if you were a sports management major it would be "because you're into all this technology stuff" etc. It was just a convenient excuse to text you -- she couldn't have been having too hard a time if she was using it to text you.
