Is this just coincidence or was it a sign?
Just recently, on November 1st and 2nd, Mexico celebrated Dios de Muerto. This, for those who don't know, is the day of the dead. For these two days they celebrate life and the release of that thereof. While many cultures have similar celebrations, I bring this holiday up because of the the basic philosophy behind the festivities. While giving of candies and figures which look like skeletons may seem morbid to us, they are always shown as festive and energetic because it is believed that the dead do not like to be pitied or grieved over. They don't want to be the cause of sadness, and it disturbs their rest because they continue to watch over you and ensure that you are ok. My guess would be that Hamlet would feel the same way. So raise a gl to this old soul, and celebrate the good times you had and the lessons you'll always keep.
