Is the bp oil spill as bad as it looks?

after seeing the dead animals and polluted shore line and the disaster caused to so many jobs it seems unavoidable to realise what a catastrophe it is to nature and people alike,but we have another one not so visible,its the millions of illegal migrants who are destroying and plundering our nation,corrupting our society with criminal activities that we as citizens would be legally crucified for if we did the same things,look at poor arizona they finally had enough and now the government is going to fall on them with all the legal weight they can muster,so my question is dint you think the illegals are a greater threat in the long run than the oil spill will be?
