Im so interested in Paganism why do people think it is full of witchcraft

There are witchcraft based pagan religions, and non-witchcraft pagan religions. the term Paganism refers to a large variety of religions.... usually refering to the fact that they rely on personal gnosis above scripture. (experience above someone elses writings)
