Christians hate gays?

in my previous questions about help from temptation (admitting i had same attraction) I got no hate from Christians whatsoever. Everyone was only supportive and very helpful. I'm a Christian too and expected no less. The hate you say Christians heaps on gays (excluding Westburo Church and such) are unfounded and biased. So, what gives?
